"I don't know"

My attempts at getting Michael to do his "I don't know" shrug. Too cute not to post some of them :-)

Adventures in finger painting...

I've been wanting to try finger painting with Michael just to see what he would do with it. Well....now we know ;-)

Part 4 (The End)

Yikes - I told we took a lot of pictures!!!! Like I said, we had a lot of time to relax and enjoy ourselves on this vacation. Here's a bunch of pictures from throughout the week. :-)
We found out on this trip that Michael is pretty much fearless. Not only did he love to play with the turtles in Nisswa, but he also loved touching and watching the many fish we caught!

And home we go....exhausted ;-)

Part 3 - Turtle Races

The Turtle Races in Nisswa deserves its own post....partly because of all the pictures we took O:-) Children young and old can purchase a chance to race a turtle. We took part in 5 of the 6 types of races and although we didn't win any of them it was definitely a lot of fun! We discoved that Michael is fearless when it comes to animals (see the fish post later) and wanted to play with the turtles so bad that every time we had to leave the circle he screamed in protest!

Minnesota Vacation Part 2

One of Michael's many cousins was also in Minnesota to hang out. Jackson is exactly 2 months older than Michael and they got along really well. :-)
The trip provided a lot of time to just relax and play!

Minnesota Vacation Part 1

The Hartmann crew (including Grandma and Grandpa Hartmann) headed north to Pequot Lakes for a week long vacation with the Jackson side of the family. We were very lucky to have a DVD player in the back of the car so Michael was able to enjoy watching Looney Tunes for most of the trip. This pic is a rare occurance where he kept the headphones on!!
We also spent time sleeping and reading :-)
Our first night there we went down to the beach and discovered that Michael LOVES to play in the sand. So the next day we went down (kinda) prepared. Little did we know that he would also LOVE the water....even if it was a little chilly ;-)
And straight to the bathtub we went.....
